If you visit Seattle during the summer, be sure to visit John Saville at the Bay Pavilion, Pier 57 on the Seattle waterfront, with a concession just inside the entrance. He can draw your photo cartoon while you wait.

Pier 57 was the original embarkation point for the Alaskan gold rush. There are dozens of life sized carved wooden statues of that era, and old photographs of Seattle. You can also ride on a carousel in the amusement section, or dine at several great restaurants on the pier.

During the Seattle Seafair festival one attractive young lady wanted to be pictured as a topless mermaid, and soon there was a group of sailors watching and shouting " Make them bigger", which John did! The young lady got embarrassed and left without the photo cartoon, which was auctioned to the sailors!

John draws many cartoons for medical and technical companies. A cartoon drawn for a clinical psychiatrist showed his patients on a moving belt. As they were passing him he gave his diagnosis " Bipolar, normal, schizophrenic etc."
