![]() PIANO MUSIC John Saville has played piano music at many restaurants and night clubs in Seattle, including Canlis and the Columbia Tower Club. He has a big repertoire of music including popular, standards, show tunes, classical, latin, ethnic, jazz and ragtime. John started the musical tradition at Nordstrom with a Steinway grand in the shoe department in 1983. John plays piano at many senior retirement homes. John entertains at many parties playing piano music, then drawing cartoons (tunes and toons). The Bon Macy department store hired John to entertain customers spending $50 or more on a cosmetic product, with a choice of their favorite tune on the piano or a photo cartoon. John Saville has played piano at some unusual locations, honky-tonk music at a cowboy saloon in northern Canada, and dance music at a nudist colony in Washington state. Maybe John can liven up your special event or party, he can provide a digital piano if needed. Audio tapes of John Saville at the piano are available, see selection below. LIMERICKS John is originally from London and retains his English accent. He knows hundreds of limericks too, and has appeared at an exclusive lawn party each year, drawing cartoons of the guests, then playing piano music and reciting limericks later in the evening. He tries to keep the customers amused without using any four letter words, unless no ladies are present, then the sky's the limit. Traditional limericks tend to be about deviations of religion or sex, with the author of Alice in Wonderland a frequent subscriber, so John feels he is in good company. He has illustrated some of his favorite limericks below, and has an illustrated booklet of limericks for sale.
